Too many people don't take their medicines when they should or how they should. Many times this is because certain groups of patients have trouble swallowing tablets or capsules such as:

• Up to 75% of stroke patients,

• Most people in nursing homes, 

• 80% of Parkinson’s patients,

• 3 million children with developmental disorders,

• As much as 99% of children suffering from cerebral palsy, 

• Infants and toddlers in general.

 

At other times there is a lack of treatment adherence because liquid formulations spill or spoil, or because of social stigma attached to taking certain medications. At Oak Therapeutics, we make medicines easier to take so people take them as directed. We develop proprietary pharmaceutical formulations in a patient-friendly format to provide for:

 

• Populations in need of solutions that work for them,

• Situation-appropriate medicines for our troops, aerospace, emergency/disaster first responders

• And even for our beloved pets.
